After 60 years of manufacturing gas-powered muscle cars, Dodge has ceased building these classic vehicles and has moved to the electric vehicle platform. The first Dodge electric vehicle to reach the market is the 2024 Dodge Charger EV. Its look is reminiscent of the muscle cars of the ‘60s and ‘70s, and its performance is pure muscle.

2024 Dodge Charger: Reaching New Heights in Electric Performance

The 2024 Dodge Charger EV, available in two trims, has swapped its old Hemi V8 for an electric 400V system. The technology used to produce this electronic system is very advanced – in other words, this is not the same electric system of the past. This electric muscle car has plenty of horsepower and torque, along with an extensive driving range. The Charger EV is one of the fastest electric cars.
The Dodge Charger EV is equipped with dual 400-volt (335-horsepower) electric motors—one drives the front wheels, and one drives the back wheels. The motors are powered by a 93.9 kWh lithium-ion high-voltage battery pack. When using a 350-kW DC fast charger, the battery will charge from 20 percent to 80 percent in around 28 minutes.
